National Theatre Workshop of the Handicapped
Dean and General Manager (1997 to 2008). As Dean, responsible for setting educational workshop schedules; creating course catalogues and promotion; interviewing and hiring adjunct faculty; reviewing and accepting disabled students and college interns for the programs; overseeing the 10-20 days residential workshops, including coordinating meals and menus, kitchen and maintenance staff, transportation and student recreational activities. Created and analyzed student and faculty program evaluations and reported to the Board of Directors on the outcomes of the completed programs.
As General Manager, oversaw the bookkeeping and accounting functions, payroll and personnel functions, facilities management, gift-processing, special events and theatrical productions. Supervised the satellite campus offices including the NTWH Belson Bakery, responsible for mail-order sales of baked goods, and special program workshops. Assisted the Founder by scheduling and making arrangements for his personal appearances across the country. NTWH Resident Instructor
Instructor and Musical Director (1993 to 2008.) As instructor and Musical Director/Pianist, taught vocal production, singing and music classes, and rehearsed the workshop’s students for a major company production number in a live public performance at the end of each workshop. Created revue-style productions of original dramatic material and musical numbers for the NTWH Cabaret, a company of 8-12 disabled and able-bodied performers. Selected the musical material, created musical arrangements, composed original material, rehearsed the company, accompanied on the piano, and toured with the troupe, who performed at schools, churches, colleges and professional theatres across the country including The Prince Theatre, Philadelphia; The Myrna Loy Center, Helena, MT; The Bay Street Theatre, Sag Harbor, NY; and, The Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center, NY, among others.
Actors' Fund of America
Director of Management Information Systems & Director of Facilities Management (1989-1997) As MIS Director, implemented the first computer hardware and software systems at The Fund, including the Development donor gift tracking and the ECHO Human Services client software. Created and programmed the original FundTix and Special Events ticketing software. Implemented and maintained the first computer networking systems at the New York Headquarters, the satellite Los Angeles and Chicago offices, the Englewood Nursing and Retirement Homes, and The Aurora. Automated many systems including donor solicitation and gift acknowledgement letters, client grant award letters, continuing aid; and, was responsible for department-wide data reporting, before IT-corporate structure decentralized data management. Priced and ordered computer and electronic equipment and was responsible for the budget, setup and maintenance of all electronic systems, while maintaining contracts and relationships with major computer vendors.

Assisted in planning and implementation of office moves in Los Angeles and Chicago, and represented AFA as Project Manager for the completion of the Aurora Housing Initiative, as well as, the establishment of the on-site Human Services offices at the Aurora.
